I am sorry to say, but the NZ National Anthem is far more catchy than the Canadian one. After weeks of having ths song stuck in my head, I have decided to post it on my blog in hopes of that providing some relief from it replaying over and over. Also, if you are interested, there are a couple of videos posted on the sidebar (Courtesy of youTube) that are of the anthem...the one with the mountain image is the best, but for me, the anthem sounds the most appealing when kids are singing it.
The first verse is in Maori, and the second verse is the same as teh frist, but in English. There are actually four or five official verses both in Maori and English.
